St. George's international school in Switzerland '23
Why I became a BSAJ member: I myself had a lot of difficulties since I entered the boarding school, but I had a lot of fun and learned, so I thought about studying abroad from Japan to a boarding school with my own experience. I wish I could help the children!
Activities at BSAJ:
What if you didn't decide to enroll in a boarding school? : I went to a private integrated school from kindergarten and had a good time surrounded by many good friends, so I think my life was very fulfilling. However, I think I lost sight of myself someday because I didn't study much and didn't have much time to look at myself. Since I started studying abroad, I have found what I want to do in the future, and now I am studying for it like never before. Also, because I am always surrounded by an international environment, I am able to experience many values and experiences that I cannot get in Japan.
Fun in boarding school life: My boarding is very small with 70 people in total, so the distance between the students and the teacher is close, and the support is generous. Also, since I have friends around me 24 hours a day, I have to concentrate on my studies because I enjoy each and every small thing that happens in my daily life without doing anything special. Since such an environment is properly prepared, it is very fulfilling from every aspect. In Switzerland, it's always fun because it takes me to ski on Sundays in winter. I think skiing while looking at the beautiful scenery that is different from the mountains in Japan is a very good experience.
